Help Us Grow Our Local Agricultural Community

Support Your Local Community

Your donation will support the Franklin Community Agriculture Department’s current building project. This project will allow students to have more hands-on learning in agriculture. For students who don’t have much experience in agriculture, this facility will help them understand the tasks of caring for livestock, growing and harvesting crops, and the production of meats, fruits, and vegetables. This facility will also allow more experienced students to conduct research or further expand their knowledge with the plethora of resources and advanced technology the facility will provide. In addition, the facility will serve as a hub for collaboration and innovation, fostering an environment where students can exchange ideas and work together on agricultural projects. Moreover, the facility will host workshops and seminars led by industry experts, providing valuable insights and practical skills to students interested in pursuing a career in agriculture.

We intend for this facility to be used not only by the agricultural classes but by other classes as well as different organizations within the community. By doing this, we aim to foster collaboration and knowledge-sharing across different disciplines. This will create a dynamic learning environment where students can gain a holistic understanding of agriculture’s impact on various sectors. Additionally, the facility will serve as a hub for community engagement, allowing local organizations to utilize the space for events and initiatives that promote sustainable farming practices and food security.
