Franklin Community FFA

What is FFA?

FFA is a dynamic youth organization that changes lives and prepares members for premier leadership, personal growth and career success through agricultural education.

FFA develops members’ potential and helps them discover their talent through hands-on experiences, which give members the tools to achieve real-world success.

FFA is an intracurricular student organization for those interested in agriculture and leadership. It is one of the three components of agricultural education.

How do I become a member?

Franklin FFA has an Affiliate membership. Affiliate membership is a way for an agriculture instructor to have all students enrolled in the Agricultural Education part of the FFA chapter.

With our chapter participating in the affiliate program, we are committing to submit each student within the agriculture program as an FFA member; truly making FFA an intra-curricular program.

How do I become involved?

Franklin FFA participates in multiple district, state, and national activities. The chapter hosts monthly meetings, along with socials and community service alternating every month. Throughout the year Franklin FFA competes in many CDEs and LDEs. The chapter also takes part in district-run events such as district kickoff, district dance, the district holiday party, and other district activities throughout the year.

Franklin FFA attends the National FFA Convention in October, which is open to all members. They also attend the Indiana FFA Convention with the current officer team and all state competitors.
