Ag Classes Offered

The Franklin Community Agricultural Department offers a wide range of classes that cater to different interests. For middle school students, there is an Introduction to Agriculture class that spans a semester. High school students begin with the Principles of Agriculture and have the option to take specialized courses in Animal Science, Plant and Soil Science, Agriculture Power, Structure and Technology, and Agriculture Fabrication and Design in their second year. For those interested in Animal Science, there is an Advanced Animal Systems class available. Seniors who want to delve deeper into agriculture can take part in the Agriculture Research Capstone, where they will conduct their own research project and submit it to the FFA Agriscience Fair.
